Rugged Military DC-DC Power Supply Module

This module is a complete military-grade power supply solution that integrates power conversion, EMI filtering, and comprehensive protection circuitry into a single compact unit. It is designed for use in military vehicles, tactical UAVs, drones, robotic platforms, and other compact defense electronics where high reliability and ruggedness are essential.

The module operates from a 9–34 VDC input (optional versions available up to 75 VDC) and delivers 100 W or more of regulated output power.

To minimize wiring complexity and reduce installation space, the unit combines three functional modules into a single compact assembly:

1. Input EMI Filter & Protection Module – Provides conducted EMI suppression and input protection as described in the following section.

2. Isolated DC-DC Converter Module – Based on a standard Quarter-Brick power converter. The design also supports Eighth-Brick, Quarter-Brick, or Half-Brick converters, allowing a wide selection of output voltages, power ratings, and efficiency levels.

3. Output Filter & Protection Module – Provides additional output filtering and protection downstream of the DC-DC converter.

The overall design and protection architecture enable reliable operation in demanding military and aerospace environments and support compliance with standards including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-704, and other applicable military specifications.
