Isolated Power Supply Module for Powering and Switching Supply Voltages and Backup Voltages

in Mission Critical and Safety Systems.

The card includes 3 Isolated, Floating power supplies for supplying voltages to critical military systems
In addition, the power supply contains an array of 4 sealed metal relays for switching between the card voltages and external backup voltages for loads

Switching is performed with an optically isolated OPEN\24 external control protecting the control unit.

Input voltages: 22V-34V

Output voltages:

                OUT1 - 24V 60W includes a 700Uf holding capacitor network

                OUT2 - 5V 30W includes a relay for switching external Backup voltage

                OUT3 - 5V 30W includes a relay for switching external Backup voltage

Protections:  The input is protected by an 8A fuse

                         The card contains EMI protections on all lines

​

Cooling:  The power supplies have a high efficiency of ~85% It is necessary to attach the power supply modules to a heat sink If working at high current and in an environment without adequate air flow.

Additional options

          • Changing working power or output voltages.

          • Change fuse values ​​or cancel fuses on demand.

Enclosure: The module can be ordered in a black aluminum case with mounting holes and heat sink

Temperature range:

     Operating: -40°C to +85°C.

     Storage: -55°C to +125°C.

Environmental conditions and standards:

 The card is coated with a thick conformal coating to protect against moisture and harsh environmental  conditions.

Mass components are reinforced to the PCB with screws or adhesive

The card is designed to meet the following military standards:

    • MIL-STD-461

    • MIL-STD-810

    • IPC-A-610, Class III

*The card is designed to meet these standards but has not been tested in accredited standards laboratories.

*The card must be mounted on a suitable heat sink and in a suitable metal case in order to meet some of the specifications and tests.
